| Описание | Moscow . The building of the Novy Dvor ( New Yard ) office centre. A view from Vodootvodny Canal . The building was constructed in 1895 for the Textile Mill of Istomins , it contained workrooms, living space for workers, a laundry and a dining hall. After the October Revolution the textile mill was nationalized, in 1921 it was named Krasnye Tekstilshchiki ( Red Textile Workers ). The mill worked till 1990s, when the production was brought to a stop. In 2005 the building was reconstructed (among other things two additional storeys were built); currently it is used as an office building. |
