| Описание | A valley formed by the folds of the Ergaki Range, under the peaks of Tumanny, Chernaya, Mat' Sayan and Sleeping Sayan, in the upper reaches of the Kebezh River (Yenisei River basin). The iconic site characterizes the Ergaki Highlands as a world of otherworldly landscapes. The jagged peaks and wide valleys of ancient glaciation are composed of Paleozoic metamorphic schists, gneisses and granites. Glacial trajectories of enormous scale (troughs) are visible. The geologically diverse landscape has been shaped by all types of erosion and weathering over millions of years: ancient glaciers moves and friction, rain, ice, snow and wind, chemical and biogenic factors (mosses and lichens).
